This will be a fun and interactive four days where you will get to practice the techniques with a small group of participants in a safe and supportive environment. Module 2: Designing Training and Assessment Programs

If participants want to take their skill development into training program design with competency based assessments then they have the option of attending module 2. This six day program includes:

  • Design and conduct a development needs analysis for groups and individuals
  • Designing a training and assessment strategy
  • Analysing competencies and other criteria to determine skills & knowledge required and suitable assessment methods
  • Selecting and adapting learning materials
  • Developing robust assessment plans and instruments
  • Conducting assessments and handling appeals or other challenges
  • Levels of program evaluation and return on investment analysis (ROI)

Over the six days the group will work on a training project from client brief, through developing the project plan, to developing and testing a selection of the training and assessment instruments. This is a fairly intense module, as it has a business focus so there is a combination of both creative and analytical skills being used. Again, we will make the learning interesting and fun, in a supportive, active-learning, environment.

All participants can choose to be formally assessed as they go through the program, at no additional cost, if they wish to achieve nationally recognised training units or qualifications. Cost of $1250 includes all learning materials and morning/afternoon tea. Lunch is not included.
